Care, from a distance A plain-language online-care guide Guide contents

Paying for care

What would the whole plan cost?

A quote is easier to compare when every charge has a name. Ask for the amount, the time it covers and what comes after it.

No approved list price to compare

As of September 2026, no approved BPC-157 medicine had a maker’s published list price or a price published by the government. [A]

This guide has no verified price to give you for a clinic’s offer. Ask for a written quote for your proposed care. Keep the payment terms beside it so you can see what the total covers.

Keep the open questions together

Your cost-question sheet

Enter only the quote and what it covers. Leave a gap where there is no answer yet.

Visit or membership quote

Ask what the visit covers and whether the fee repeats.

Test quote

Ask whether collection and review are included.

Proposed medicine quote

Ask what is included in the exact medicine charge.

Further care quote

Ask what a review, refill decision or referral would cost.

Other charge or payment term to ask about

Entries stay on this page while it is open. They are not sent to a service or saved by the site.

The blank sheet works on paper, too. Keep a quote separate from a question that still needs an answer.

Questions to keep beside the quote

Give each charge a name

Ask what the assessment fee covers. If there is a membership, ask what it covers and when it repeats.

If tests or a medicine are proposed, ask whether each has a separate charge. Ask what a further review would cost.

Look past the first payment

Ask whether the fee changes after an opening offer. Ask about automatic renewal, cancellation and a refund if the care plan changes.

Use the same time period when you compare quotes. A visit charge and an ongoing plan are different things to put side by side.

Get the insurance answer for the exact plan

Ask the insurer which parts, if any, it will cover: the visit, the named tests and the exact proposed medicine.

Keep the reply with the quote. Leave an unanswered item marked as a question, rather than counting it as covered.
